The chart below reflects what many home buyers have been feeling this year. Low inventory (i.e. look at the number of homes sold as complared to last year at this time....and we though the inventory was low in 2012!) and higher prices - prices being driven up by the lack of inventory. Notice the "Days to Contract" as it is considerably less from last year. Homes are receiving offers in record time if priced and marketed correctly.However, what this also tells me is that if you have been on the fence about selling your home, NOW is the time to sell.
