The following Boulder County stats for December2011 provided courtesy of BARA Realtor Association and Fidelity National Title.

property price in Boulder is still higher than other cities

You are correct, housing prices within the city of Boulder remain much more stable than in other parts of the country. The closer you get to downtown Boulder the higher the demand, therefore it is often reflected in the price of housing. However there are still many areas still within Boulder County where the prices are much more reasonable such as: Lafayette Longmont Erie Louisville Superior...just to name a few.
